README2 Here are some extras! I have added two little filters to make loading recipes even *more* hands-off, DOSPLIT and FIXNAMES. DOSPLIT ------- IF you have an ingredients list that appears in 2 columns, edit the file and right above the ingredient list add a line like this : #split-----------------------------| where the "|" shows where you want to split the file. At the bottom of the ingredients list, add a line : #unsplit THIS IS IMPORTANT. DOSPLIT will keep splitting the file until you tell it to stop. Example : =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-input=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Couscous, Pork & Apricots No. 2253 Yields 2 Servings #split-----------------------------------| 1 2/3 Cups Onion, Chopped 1 tsp Cumin, Ground 2 tsp Olive Oil 1/4 tsp Hot Red Pepper Flakes 8 oz White Mushrooms 2 Tbls Tomato Paste 8 oz Pork Tenderloin 3/4 Cup Orange Juice 1 Cup Whole Wheat Couscous 1 Tbls Parsley, Chopped 1 Lemon 1/4 tsp Salt 1 Orange 10 Dried Apricots #unsplit Saute the onion in a very hot non-stick pan in the olive oil over medium high heat until the onion begins to brown. Wash, trim and dry the mushrooms. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-output=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Couscous, Pork & Apricots No. 2253 Yields 2 Servings 1 2/3 Cups Onion, Chopped 2 tsp Olive Oil 8 oz White Mushrooms 8 oz Pork Tenderloin 1 Cup Whole Wheat Couscous 1 Lemon 1 Orange 10 Dried Apricots 1 tsp Cumin, Ground 1/4 tsp Hot Red Pepper Flakes 2 Tbls Tomato Paste 3/4 Cup Orange Juice 1 Tbls Parsley, Chopped 1/4 tsp Salt Saute the onion in a very hot non-stick pan in the olive oil over medium high heat until the onion begins to brown. It uses a file (FIXNAMES.TXT) to tell it what to change. Feel free to add to this file as you learn what ingredient spellings MasterCook (t) prefers. To run it, type FIXNAMES myfile.txt =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- To use these filters : Run them in this order for best results : input file is myrecipe.txt 1. edit myrecipe.txt to add split and unsplit commands. 2. dosplit myrecipe.txt 3. fixnames myrecipe.out 4. edit myrecipe.fix to clean up for MAKEMSTR 5. makemstr myrecipe.fix 6. Import myrecipe.mxp into MasterCook(t).
